Ego moves in and out … it is affected by every “current” of energy that moves by … Ego is totally fixated on the external world. As a result it is blown about by every whim and worry … which explains why it’s energy is one of frenzy and chaos.
It has no internal “set” point – no governing Intention on which to direct its attention.
It creates in us a state of continuous contraction – no rest, no surrender.
The task for those on the Path of the Middle Way is to turn inward ….
towards finding balance between Will and surrender…
Between Intention and let go …
Between Essence and ego …
This is the tension between the opposites that we must hold
If we are to be a refined tool in the Hands of our Beloved.
